Good Monday Morning!
The past two weeks have flown by.  Even though it has been raining what Jaydyn says are like big gum balls from the sky, we still manage to stay plenty busy throughout the day and into the Alaskan midnight sun.  Justin says that I should give the disclaimer that all day for myself, Jaydyn, and JT really means about 11am, when the three of us decide to roll out of bed until midnight, while Justin's day is truly all day from 5am until midnight.  We haven't gone hungry thanks to Linda's cooking and we have an installed and very functional fireplace thanks to Dave helping Justin out.  We've had our house cookin' at a mere 88 degrees just because we can. NO MORE COLD winters in the Mason house now, and that is happy, happy news!  And when we want a sauna, we have high heat levels during the summer months too.  Below are a few pictures that we have taken of the kids that we hope you all will enjoy.

Happy Birthday JT Mason- June 24, 2013   Has anyone ever had the cupcakes from Cold Stone Ice Cream?  To die for is all I have to say!!!

I sleep a lot, eat every 3 hours, poop and pee, and look at my sister often.  Those of you who received pics of Jaydyn when she was a baby, might think that this is one of them.  It's not, Jaydyn and JT look very much alike, very much alike.

Chillin

Scale day!!!  This is where Justin puts the baby in a camo hunting bag and uses a fish scale to get the weight.  At 14 days, JT is up to 8 lbs 9 ounces, so 4 ounces over his birth weight.  He doesn't miss any meals, that is for sure.  I think I recall a similar face from Jaydyn when Justin put her in the same camo bag to get a weight.  If you think that Justin is crazy, well... Most of us know the answer to that, but the alternative on getting a weight each week is to bring JT to the post office and have the post master get a weight for us.  So, we are opting to do this weight at home rather than the local post office.

Right now, I have blue gray eyes.  Mom thinks they will turn hazel like dad's and Jaydyn's.  Jaydyn thinks they are going to stay blue.  We haven't decided what we are betting yet, but there will be a Mason bet going on to see which girl is right.  Justin is voting to stay out of the debate, smart man!

The best BIG sister ever!!!!!!  Jaydyn even changes the poopiest diapers, gets peed on and giggles, and just wipes off spit-up in stride.  She is a great snuggler and shoosher too!

For the optimist, please take note that we are ahead of schedule for Monday morning picks.  And for those who are pessimists, well....  We will always be behind on posting Monday morning picks.  As Jaydyn says so greatly-Suck It Up!
